Vivian Vasquez
Vivian is a passionate data scientist who leverages the power of data analytics to address disparities and drive innovative decisionmaking. She graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Ethics, Politics, and Economics and a certificate in Data Science. Her academic focus was on artificial intelligence policy, machine learning ethics, and social data visualization. During school, Vivian was a data science research assistant studying the political economy of poverty alleviation in Mexico, an undergraduate learning assistant for the Statistics and Data Science Department, and a staffer at the Office of LGBTQ Resources.
Outside the classroom, Vivian spent the past year as a data science intern for a healthcare provider and has also interned with various other organizations including the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California. In her leisure time, Vivian enjoys spin classes with friends, reading semi-autobiographical novels at local coffee shops, and listening to podcasts that analyze her favorite TV shows.
