Veronica Swanson
Veronica received her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, where her research focused on uptake and usability for rehabilitation technologies. Prior to this, she worked as a research and development engineer designing 3D printers for the International Space Station and served as the Associate Technical Director for the Institute for Design and Manufacturing Innovation at UC Irvine.
Veronica has a passion for STEM education having served as an educator to a variety of audiences, from K-12 students to high school teachers and rehabilitation health care professionals. She is a lifelong learner and problem solver, and her current interest lies in uncovering new insights from a variety of data sources.

Fun Fact:
Veronica attended a performing arts high school where she played multiple instruments and sang in the choir. This education was foundational to developing her communication and public speaking skills.
