Sasha LaPommeray

Sasha graduated from New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering, where she studied Cybersecurity. Prior to joining the U.S. Digital Corps, Sasha worked as a Cyber Security Engineer at a healthcare AI solutions company, where she was responsible for secure Python programming, Splunk log management, and server development. As she continues with her professional development, Sasha is dedicated to increasing knowledge and awareness of cybersecurity as well as helping to guide others into the cybersecurity industry. After work, she enjoys watching films and reading novels.

What Inspired You To Join The U.S. Digital Corps?

"My interest in the cybersecurity industry stemmed from a desire to help prevent cybersecurity attacks on a national scale. USDC is instrumental in helping me to fulfill my dreams of utilizing my cybersecurity skills in a public service context."

Sasha is interested in cubing and can solve a 4x4 Rubik's Cube.
