Sam Levy

Sam recently graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Law, Societies & Justice. During his time in college, he was an active member of Impact++, a club focused on the intersection of technology and social good by collaborating with various nonprofits to address their technical needs. Additionally, Sam served as a teaching assistant and peer advisor for the computer science department. Before joining the U.S. Digital Corps, he worked as a software engineer in the private sector.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys volunteering in public parks, reading, running extensively, experimenting with new baking recipes, and sharing the latest fun fact he’s learned from a podcast with anyone willing to listen.

What Inspired You To Join The U.S. Digital Corps?

"Some of my favorite pieces of technology are government technology: an amazing public transportation app I use everyday and public library websites which I use multiple times a week. I am so excited to work for the government to to build similar technology that will bring resources, information, and support to our communities and to the broader public."

Sam listens to a ridiculous number of podcasts ranging from gossip to the Supreme Court. And he is always looking for new recommendations to listen to!
