Mitchel Baker

Mitchel obtained his B.S. in Computer Science from San Francisco State University. During his studies, he developed an interest in various subjects such as calculus, statistics, physics, and computer architecture. However, he found his true passion in software engineering, where he specialized in the development of complex web applications and database systems.

Outside of his academic pursuits Mitchel, leads an active lifestyle outdoors hiking, backpacking, surfing, and climbing. He also enjoys going to the gym, skiing, and skateboarding to explore various food options around San Francisco.

What Inspired You To Join The U.S. Digital Corps?

"I have always been driven to push technology forward while making a positive impact on the lives of others. When I discovered the Digital Corps, I realized it was an opportunity to contribute towards high-impact areas in government while building upon critical infrastructure to benefit the American people."

Fun Fact:

Mitchel grew up on a five-acre farm where he and his family took care of free-range hens, sheep, and cattle.
