Maggie Sullivan
Maggie has called many states home, including Wyoming and Kentucky. She graduated with a B.A. in International Affairs and Gender Women’s Studies from Western Kentucky University. During college, Maggie interned with the U.S. Department of State, focusing on refugee resettlement issues. After graduating, Maggie worked as a contractor with the U.S. Agency for International Development, most recently as a Development Outreach and Communications Specialist in Morocco.
Ready for the next challenge, Maggie returned to school to pursue an M.S. in Data Science for Public Policy at Georgetown University. While at Georgetown, she worked with the Massive Data Institute, where she assisted in building a first-of-its-kind database of school board video transcripts and supported the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to automate annual funding allocations. Maggie also interned with the Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation, where she conducted text analysis on over 3,500 governor speeches. Passionate about the intersection of technology and government, she also served as Communications Chair of the Georgetown Technology Policy Initiative.

Maggie has worked in three countries and visited over 40 states. In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball and being an auntie.
