Kristina Yin

Kristina is a first-generation college graduate. She graduated from Santa Clara University with a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering and a minor in Studio Art.

Kristina is a human-centered designer with a background in user experience design, user interface design, web and graphic design, computer science, and product management. With a passion for narrowing the digital divide, she is deeply passionate about helping government better serve its constituents. Prior to joining the U.S. Digital Corps, she channeled this as a Civic Digital Fellow for the Internal Revenue Service.

In her spare time, she enjoys experimenting with new technologies, reading, and painting.

What Inspired You To Join The U.S. Digital Corps?

"The U.S. Digital Corps aligns with my personal values, and I am particularly drawn to the program’s focus on using technology and design to solve public-sector challenges. As an immigrant, my family and I greatly appreciate the government resources that have positively impacted our livelihoods. As such, I want to pay it forward by serving others nationwide."

Kristina is an avid trill-seeker with a love for rollercoasters, haunted houses, and horror movies.
