Kira Tebbe

Kira leverages her interdisciplinary background and passion for helping others to understand an issue, develop an effective path forward, and bring tangible improvements to people’s lives. She earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship. While at Booth, Kira interned with the City Colleges of Chicago, analyzing enrollment data to identify strategies to increase the attendance of GED and ESL students. She also worked with the YWCA and one of the largest childcare providers in Chicago. Previously, she received a B.A. in Sociology and Applied Mathematics from Yale University and worked as a data scientist at a multinational technology corporation and an international education company. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys playing games of all types, rollerblading, volunteering in girls’ education, and talking with strangers.

What Inspired You To Join The U.S. Digital Corps?

"I was inspired to join USDC to leverage the skills I’ve built thus far, meet inspiring peers, learn at a rapid pace, and work on meaningful projects that are of service to people across the country."

Fun Fact:

Kira has designed and made multiple board games and once wrote and hosted a virtual trivia game for over 800 people!
