Kate is a data scientist who recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Computational Analysis and Public Policy from the University of Chicago. They also hold a B.A. in astrophysics and English from Wellesley College.

Kate is passionate about the ways that actionable data can impact environmental policy and create a more equitable world. They have worked on issues ranging from the human impacts of locust swarms to solar energy adoption to dark matter detection through roles in industry and academia.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys hiking, writing, and fiber arts.
