Gregg Rich

Gregg graduated from George Mason University with a Master’s degree in Data Analytics Engineering, completing a capstone project for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. He received his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary, with a major in International Relations - Political Economy, where he developed an initial foundation in statistics, econometrics, and data analysis.

He was previously a high school math teacher both in the U.S. and overseas in Paraguay, where he also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Community Economic Development sector. Before that he worked as a research assistant for a government contractor providing quantitative analytical support for projects for DOL, HUD, HHS, and other federal and state agencies.

He enjoys reading, cooking, and cycling. Last year, he completed the Camino de Santiago (Spain) by bicycle with his teenage son.

What Inspired You To Join The U.S. Digital Corps?

"I was drawn to the idea of using the transformative power of data to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government. I love problem solving and analysis, and USDC will give me the perfect opportunity to use my skills and background to help support important initiatives bringing a positive impact, while challenging me and allowing me to grow professionally."

Fun Fact:

Gregg speaks three languages fluently: English, Spanish, and Guarani.
