Ethan is passionate about using data to improve government services so that government can better serve people. He earned his master’s in civic analytics from the University of Illinois, where he researched data governance in the public sector, housing policy, and geospatial analysis methods. He was a data science intern at the Cook County Assessor’s Office and served as an associate research analyst at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning after graduation.

Outside of work, Ethan enjoys many hobbies including cycling, cooking, and bird-watching.
