Erin Song

Erin graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Computer Science and minors in Data Science and Human Rights History. As a student, she spent most of her time developing software projects for nonprofits and teaching in K-12 STEM programs. Prior to the U.S. Digital Corps, Erin worked as a software engineer in the private sector.

In her free time, Erin enjoys exploring cities through their public spaces, storytelling through different creative mediums, and sharing home-cooked meals with friends. She can often be found eating tangerines or aggravating her cat Stitches.

What Inspired You To Join The U.S. Digital Corps?

"I want my work to strengthen communities and increase equitable access to public resources. As someone who cares about community learning, I also resonated with the Digital Corps' mission to help new technologists learn the skills and knowledge to better understand the impact we want to make in the public sector."

Fun Fact:

Erin tries to collect postcards from any place she visits. She enjoys sending them to friends, but also likes to keep one that she can write a small diary entry in and store inside her personal journal.
