Dhan Gurung

Dhan holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Cyber Security from Fordham University. He previously worked as an IT Specialist at Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in NYC. He is very passionate about technology and moved to the United States to pursue higher education. While serving in the US Navy, Dhan was able to build and learn about the scope and severity of cybersecurity threats against our military and the government.

Dhan is also an alumni of NPower, a nonprofit organization that provides advanced technology training for military veterans. He completed the Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing program along with CompTIA Security+ and Cloud Practitioners/Solutions Architect certificates. Outside of work, Dhan enjoys spending time with family and friends, learning new skills, hiking, and exploring new places.

What Inspired You To Join The U.S. Digital Corps?

Fun Fact:

Dhan is originally from Manang, Nepal which is located in the Annapurna mountain range - famous for the Annapurna Circuit Trek.
