Christy holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco. She previously worked as a journalist in Asia and the United States, and has also worked in the nonprofit sector. In the past, her news lens explored how digitization transformed governments, businesses, and communities. More recently, Christy has become passionate about civic tech and believes in innovation for good. As a civic technologist, she wishes to leverage her storytelling, empathetic, and cross-cultural communications experience to help build technology that matters, as well as to collaborate with other technologists to solve pressing issues.
